STO activities
The STO’s scientific and technological work under the STO’s collaborative model is carried out by the Technical Teams. They are temporary groups created under the STO technological areas for specific activities, ranging from scientific, technological or operational subjects studies, to the organization of events such as symposia, conferences and workshops, and demonstrations and technological experiments.
Participation in the Technical Teams is in general open to experts from companies, research centers and academic institutions. If you wish to participate in any of these teams, you can contact the national representative in the appropriate Panel/Technical Team or the STO National Coordinator in rtoconsultas@oc.mde.es.
In general, Technical Teams lack budgetary contribution, so the benefits of participating lie in the scientific and technological exchange of information among experts from the different NATO R&D agencies and institutions.
